Where do we get our flowers?
Donations: From florists and distributors who cannot sell the flowers that are being given to us (because they are not in peak condition for full retail sale).
Recovery: From events and functions that are through using their flowers.
Special Rates: Through networking and relationship building, we're forming partnerships with local businesses and individuals who believe in our cause.

Who are we?
Second Bloom, founded by Yoshi Portuondo-Dember, is a non-profit organization that delivers flowers from events and other companies to places where those flowers can have a "second bloom," like nursing homes and hospitals.
Our concept is simple: Getting flowers to people who could use a smile to brighten their day! The flowers we typically get donated are ones that are not sell-able at full market value (because of minor blemishes or wilting) or just simply haven't sold yet (and just like food, flowers are perishable, too)
