A Vase Drive
So many flowers, but where to put them all!? One of our logistical challenges with donations is having vases to keep the flowers we donate healthy, fresh, and looking great! There are lots of creative ways to make vases - we just need the material!
If your school or company is willing to put out a box asking for empty soup cans and containers that we can turn into vases, that would be Petal-Tastic!
Flower Therapy Group
Organizing groups to meet up and help us sort, cut, arrange, and prepare flowers for delivery. Whether that be school kids, health clinics, a nursing home, or any other group that wants to experience the power of flower fun!
Serving Tray Petals
At Spaulding Hospital, patients
will occasionally be surprised
with some pretty petals presented
with the lunch trays!
Education and Outreach
Flower are not only pretty, but amazing living organisms. Bringing hands on projects to schools to teach kids about how flowers grow and what makes them so special is another future goal of Second Bloom
